We are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing & Packaging Specialist to execute pricing and packaging strategies for our SaaS-based offerings in the commodities sector. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, marketing, and finance—helping to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion through smart monetization strategies. Experience / Skills / Requirements - 4+ years in a pricing, packaging, product strategy, or related revenue operations role—preferably in SaaS or enterprise software. - Experience with commodities, trading platforms, financial markets, or related sectors strongly preferred. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and pricing tools - Ability to synthesize data and market feedback into actionable insights. - Clear communicator with strong storytelling and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment. - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. - Knowledge of SaaS metrics and pricing psychology. - Familiarity with CRM and subscription billing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora). - High degree of curiosity and a test-and-learn mindset. $85,000 - $120,000 a year 1. Pricing Strategy Development - Develop and implement effective pricing strategies that align with company objectives, market conditions, customer value perception, and competitive dynamics along with internal business unit leaders and outside consulting. - Conduct in-depth pricing analyses - Support dynamic pricing initiatives, volume-based tiering, and enterprise deal structuring. 2. Packaging Optimization - Collaborate with product and sales teams to design packaging that aligns with buyer personas, industry verticals, and usage patterns. - Test and iterate on various packaging models (modular, bundling, feature-based access, etc.) to improve adoption and customer value. 3. Market Intelligence & Benchmarking - Conduct competitive benchmarking to understand market standards and differentiators. - Maintain a pulse on commodities markets and customer segments to inform product-market fit and pricing elasticity. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with GTM, Sales Ops, and Customer Success to operationalize and communicate pricing and packaging updates. - Train sales and customer-facing teams on pricing logic, objection handling, and upsell strategies. 5. Metrics & Performance Tracking - Monitor key pricing KPIs including ARPU, churn impact, win/loss rate by pricing tier, and discount usage. - Use data to recommend adjustments and report on pricing effectiveness and customer segmentation. 6. Rev Ops Related Projects and AdHoc - Occasionally work on other sales ops related projects and assist on an adhoc basis
