Summary We are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to build and scale backend systems powering next-generation AI-driven voice solutions in the automotive industry. This role is open to engineers with strong experience in Python, as well as full stack or multi-stack engineers who have worked on Python-based projects and can effectively contribute to backend systems. A key aspect of this role is being an AI Engineer in practice — meaning strong, hands-on experience using AI assistants, coding agents, or AI-driven development workflows (not just basic tools like autocomplete). You will leverage these tools to accelerate development, solve problems, and deliver production-ready solutions. You will work on scalable backend services, API integrations, and AI-powered features, contributing to products that transform how customers interact with dealerships. Professional Experience •5+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on experience with Python •Experience building backend systems, APIs, or scalable services •Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) •Experience working with data and databases •Practical experience using AI assistants, coding agents, or AI-driven workflows in development Key Responsibilities •Design, build, and maintain backend systems using Python and related technologies •Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services •Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end •Work with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (Docker) •Contribute to system design discussions and scalability improvements •Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices •Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate development, debugging, and solution design •Support the integration of AI/voice technologies such as STT/TTS or LLM APIs Technical Skills Strong experience in several of the following areas: •Backend Development: Python or experience working on Python-based systems •Cloud & DevOps: AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines •APIs & Integrations: REST APIs and third-party integrations •Data: SQL/NoSQL databases, data processing •AI-Native Development: Experience using AI assistants, coding agents, or automation workflows in real development scenarios •AI Exposure (Plus): NLP, LLM APIs, STT/TTS systems Soft Skills •Advanced English proficiency •Strong problem-solving skills •Good communication and collaboration •Ownership mindset and attention to detail •Ability to work in fast-paced, product-driven environments At Growth Acceleration Partners, we're an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. Role Description As a Senior Software Developer, you will work with a team of developers to deliver software features, APIs, and micro-service solutions.
