This is a role to work on our high frequency messaging backend for risk management. This will be a primarily C/C++ role where you will be responsible for all parts of the stack from the backend to the C++ GUI front end. Challenges will be talking with 1000s of clients each reporting 1000s of messages a seconds, and building the message routing, replay and discovery system. Then taking this data and making it presentable to users. Because you work alongside the people using the systems you build, it’s easy to get feedback. You’ll quickly see the impact of your code and how it improves people’s daily work. This also means that the development team enjoys great flexibility when planning roadmaps and deciding which features to implement.
