HSE Construction Manager

• Provide leadership and governance for the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function. • Promote a no‑harm culture, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and operational excellence across Projects & Construction. • Support the multi‑year HSE strategy and build organizational capability. • Oversee HSE programs and processes for construction of more than 30 customer sites annually. • Serve as principal HSE advisor to senior leadership and managers on emerging risks and best practices. • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations across jurisdictions. • Implement/oversee risk assessment processes with emphasis on serious injury & fatality prevention. • Manage the HSE incident management process and promote psychological safety.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or associate's degree with a minimum of five to eight years’ work experience in General Industry, Industrial, or Construction environmental, health, and safety preferred.
  • Certification (CSP/ASP/CRSP/GSP) is preferred.
  • Experience in applying international HSE standards (ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001) across business units and geographies.
  • Experience with cranes, lifting and rigging, safety management systems, control of hazardous energy, confined space requirements, work at heights and soft tissue injury prevention.
  • Ability to mentor/coach as a technical specialist and guide service organization managers and leaders.
  • Simple interpretation of regulations and company policy.
  • Ability to work with multiple levels of the organization including front line workforce, managers, directors, and support departments.
