What you will doâ¯Â  Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge and fire pumps.â¯Â **This is a remote role. Candidates must be based in Minnesota but may reside anywhere within the state. ** How you will do itâ¯Â - Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment. - Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. - Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. - Must have the ability to work alone. What we look for Required - 5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems - Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. - Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs - Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times - Possess a valid driverâs license and driving record that meets company requirements - Follow verbal and written instructions - Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. - Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. - Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer - MN Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter License Preferred: - Backflow Tester License - NICET Certification, within the first year of hire HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $37.00 - 50.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
