Note: benefits eligibility may be based on employment status, tenure, location, or other factors Classification: exempt/salary Location: remote Pay range: $125K-$160K Job Summary: The Senior Program Manager - Wireless Construction is responsible for leading the execution of complex wireless construction programs including Tower, Civil, Outside Plant, and Small Cell operations. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within the budget, and in accordance with Telamon’s safety, quality, and customer standards. The Senior Program Manager coordinates cross-functional teams including construction managers, engineering, procurement, finance, and sales to ensure successful delivery of customer programs. This role partners closely with the Sr. Director, Construction Operations and functional leaders to translate strategic priorities into effective program execution, operational alignment, and client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Leadership • Lead execution of large-scale wireless construction programs including tower modifications, new site builds, civil work, small cell deployments, and OSP construction. • Develop and maintain integrated program plans including schedule, budget, staffing, and resource coordination. • Coordinate activities across construction, engineering, procurement, safety, and project management teams to ensure successful delivery. • Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and financial targets. • Monitor key program performance indicators including schedule adherence, cost performance, productivity, quality, and safety metrics. Financial & Program Performance • Manage program-level financial performance including budget tracking, cost control, and margin performance. • Support forecasting of program revenue, costs, and resource needs in coordination with finance and operational leadership. • Monitor labor utilization, subcontractor performance, and project costs to ensure programs remain within approved budgets. • Provide regular program status reporting including financial, operational, and delivery metrics. Operational Coordination • Translate Wireless OpCo strategy and client commitments into actionable program execution plans. • Coordinate with construction managers, engineering teams, and project managers to align resources and execution priorities. • Provide operational updates and escalation support to the Vice President of Wireless and senior leadership. • Ensure programs adhere to Telamon safety, quality, and compliance standards. Resource Coordination • Coordinate staffing and resource allocation across construction teams to support program execution. • Partner with operations leadership to align workforce capacity with program demand. • Identify capability gaps and recommend training or staffing adjustments to maintain program delivery performance. Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Serve as a key operational liaison between internal teams and customer stakeholders during program execution. • Support account management and sales teams by providing operational insights and program updates. • Participate in RFx response planning by providing input on program execution strategy, resource requirements, and operational feasibility. Managerial Responsibility - This position has direct reports. - Will provide leadership and direction to project managers, construction managers, and cross-functional program teams. Travel/Shift Requirements - Minimal travel of less than 10% annually. Physical Demands - Prolonged Sitting: The nature of the role involves extended periods of sitting at a desk while performing administrative tasks. - Computer Use: Regular use of computers and other office equipment for data entry, document management, and communication purposes. Skills and Abilities Required Program Leadership • Ability to lead complex, multi-project programs across construction, engineering, and operational teams. • Strong project and program management discipline including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Financial & Operational Acumen • Strong understanding of program budgeting, cost tracking, and operational performance metrics. • Ability to analyze program performance data and implement corrective actions when needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Ability to influence teams across engineering, construction, procurement, and finance without direct authority. • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and resolve operational challenges. Execution & Problem Solving • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational challenges quickly and effectively. Education and Experience Required - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, or related field. - Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in wireless construction, telecommunications infrastructure, or related program management roles. - Experience managing complex telecommunications construction programs including tower modifications, new builds, small cell deployments, and civil construction. - Working knowledge of relevant clients (Network Operators and Wireless Infrastructure Companies), and relevant products, and services (Tower Modifications, New Site Tower Builds, Small Cells, Civil Construction, OSP Construction, and OSP Engineering).
