Role Summary The Senior Developer at Founders Workshop helps clients bring their visions to life. They leverage technological skills while working with the project team to create innovative software. This role requires strong attention to the “bigger picture” as well as attention to the “fine details”. The Senior Developer Team Member balances cost, quality, and the need to move quickly. What you’ll do - Use requirements from product manager to develop features that clients will love - Use best practices to create great code - Connect with your remote team daily to coordinate activities - Keep your team in the loop with the latest updates to your tasks. - Ask questions and make suggestions so we can deliver the best software to our clients - Carefully analyze requirements and test scripts - Assist in planning and scope management - Collaborate with project leadership and team members - Identify blockers and potential blockers so the team moves quickly and effectively - Test code locally and participate in weekly code reviews Who you are Senior Developer developer with - 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript software development - 5+ years of experience with TypeScript (NodeJS) - Ability to take ownership of the full lifecycle of large features/initiatives with little supervision/’hand-holding’ - Excellent understanding and knowledge of React - Experience with API implementation (REST/GraphQL) - Comfortable with Postgres/relational databases - Reasonable CSS skills - Detailed oriented: Ensures that every aspect of the development is of high quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the usability and security of the final product. - Based in Latin America (LATAM) to align with our team’s time zone and collaboration needs. - Proficient in conversational English (B2 to C1 level) - Adaptable: You are quick to adjust to new challenges and changes in project requirements, ensuring seamless transitions. - Reliable Communicator: Your proactive and clear communication style ensures that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. You're meticulous in your work, always aiming to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
