Job Description

Program Manager – Strategic Technical Consulting

Agilent Technologies

• Lead end‑to‑end program management for complex, high‑value strategic consulting engagements, including scope definition, planning, execution, risk management, and closure • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects across global teams, ensuring dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked • Establish and maintain standardized program governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms • Partner with Strategic Technical Consultants to support trusted‑advisor relationships with top‑tier customers • Act as a central point of coordination between customers, consultants, sales, and internal delivery teams • Support customer communications related to program status, risks, and outcomes in a clear, professional, and proactive manner • Track program financials including revenue, margins, invoicing milestones, and change requests • Support Statement of Work (SOW) development, scope management, and change control in collaboration with sales and consulting leadership • Ensure programs are delivered in alignment with commercial commitments and Agilent financial objectives • Develop and maintain program management best practices, templates, and tools for Strategic Technical Consulting • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, scalability, and consistency across engagements • Capture lessons learned and contributed to continuous improvement of ESCS delivery models • Collaborate with Product, Support, Enablement, and Customer Success teams to align delivery with product roadmaps and customer needs • Support internal planning, forecasting, and leadership reporting for the Strategic Technical Consulting portfolio

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs or large‑scale consulting engagements in a technical or enterprise software environment
  • Strong understanding of program management fundamentals including scope, schedule, risk, and financial management
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional, geographically distributed teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in life sciences, laboratory informatics, regulated environments, or enterprise software services (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with professional services delivery models and SOW‑based engagements (Preferred)
  • Program or project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2) (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting strategic or executive‑level customer engagements (Preferred)

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Community Impact Director, some responsibilities include: - Coordinate the setup and maintenance of self-monitoring blood pressure stations in partnering libraries. - Support the development of community-based health hubs that provide access to tele-health appointments, education and referrals. - Support community assessments and identify project-related material needs. - Support the libraries’ data collection and reporting quarterly and annually. - Coordinate health information distribution with community partners. - Function as the primary internal and external contact and resource for the program. - Promote and expand positive community relations through active outreach. - Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and strategic community alliances to achieve priority community goals. - Assist in organizing/implementing community and culturally appropriate health initiatives and programs throughout the three counties. - Engage and educate the community with regards to blood pressure resources (coordinate and facilitate market workshops, training, etc. with community, and faith-based organizations) and other health-related initiatives as identified. - Regularly evaluate and report on progress towards stated objectives and provide support for achievement of the grant funding deliverables.
