Field Engineer

Ampd Energy

• Provide remote and sometimes local expert technical support to customers • Install and commission products on customer sites • Teach our distributors and contractors how to service and use our products • Diagnose and root cause issues • Create/write up test reports, service reports, and knowledge base articles • Help collect and analyze data regarding product reliability, usability, and performance • Provide feedback to engineering and sales team

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience working physically around high power equipment
  • Proficient with electronic equipment, power tools, and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Trained as an Electrical Technician, Electrician, or Electrical Engineer, preferably with renewable energy systems
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety, testing procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and manuals
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Preference for Spanish speaking as we are expanding into Latin America

Large Format Printer -Field Service Engineer Description - Job Description About the opportunity: The Large Format Printer Field Technical Support Team is part of HPs Global Customer Support Organization, the team responsible for supporting our customers in every aspect of their journey with HP. In this role you will work from your home office in the Denver Area. You will be trained on HP customer service practices and standards to handle on-site servicing, diagnostics, and repairs for HP Printers. What you’ll do: Perform installations, training, maintenance, and repairs on customer's Large Format Printing equipment. Determine site and equipment requirements. Understand customer goals and identify the consequences of various solutions. Work according to the project plan, installation plan, and escalation plan. Configure system hardware, software, and network components. Assemble and integrate system/product and verifies system/product operation. Use proactive monitoring procedures to identify problem-prevention opportunities. Provide the customer with an overview of installation activity, site-specific information, and access to appropriate contacts. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. Handle customer-relations problems promptly and appropriately and escalate issues according to established procedures.
