• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest and transform data across Salesforce, Gainsight, Rocketlane, Zendesk, Snowflake, product telemetry, and other core systems • Strategic partner with Customer Ops & Analytics, Enterprise Data Engineering and Product Operations teams to be a thought leader to design scalable data solutions. • Develop reliable data models that power renewal forecasting, churn prediction, customer health scoring, professional services metrics, support performance, and product usage • Implement CI/CD, data testing, and documentation best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and auditable transformations • Optimize warehouse performance and data architecture for speed, cost efficiency, and reliability • Partner with Product and Engineering to design telemetry schemas and ensure meaningful product instrumentation, while building pipelines that translate product usage data into actionable insights for both Product teams and Post-Sales teams • Architect data structures that support AI/ML use cases including churn prediction, renewal forecasting, workflow automation, and sentiment analysis • Implement monitoring and validation frameworks to proactively detect data inconsistencies • Familiarity with using Python for basic to advanced data processing tasks • Develop and document data or system models, flow diagrams and architecture guidelines

• Design and develop analytics-ready datasets optimized for BI consumption • Build and maintain BI-focused data models (facts, dimensions, star/snowflake schemas) to support BI semantic models • Define, document, and govern business metrics and calculations • Develop transformations and analytical models using dbt and Python • Leverage existing SQL Server and AWS data warehouse data to create trusted analytical data sources • Write, debug, and maintain Python-based data transformation and analytics logic independently • Partner with BI and business teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and well-defined data structures • Analyze and reverse-engineer existing datasets or reports to diagnose data or metric inconsistencies • Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of analytical models with minimal dependency on other engineers

Being a part of the Hitachi Vantara finance organization, this team connects the dots across multiple business functions to drive growth, promote data-driven decision making and helps solve dynamic business problems. The manager will lead a team working with and learning from a broad set of internal stakeholders, including and not limited to - services, sales, marketing, product management, finance, pricing, and partner operations, as well as key business owners and stakeholders across multiple levels and functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience and confidence in working with multiple data sources to deliver insightful, accurate analyses that drive actionable outcomes, improve business processes, and support executive decision-making. Success in this role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and data quality, leadership in managing and developing analyst team and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. - Manage a team in building interactive dashboards, predictive models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL - Lead by example while managing and developing the Analyst team—providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and fostering professional growth through direct involvement in project work. - Delivery of analysis, dashboards, and sharp insights that enable functional leaders to quickly understand and effectively make decisions to manage the global performance of complex solution and service offerings - Apply advanced analytics techniques (statistical modeling, machine learning) to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support business decision making - Guide automation of data processing and transformation using Python, SQL, and modern cloud-based platforms - Establish and enforce data governance and quality assurance standards across all projects. - Mentor and coach junior staff, promoting professional growth and innovative problem-solving What You’ll Bring to the Team - Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Marketing, or Engineering preferred, or an MBA combined with professional experience in a quantitative discipline performing statistical analysis - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pricing or financial analysis, business planning or analysis, or similar quantitative discipline - Proven experience in data strategy, analytics leadership, and AI implementation. - Excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to team with others - High energy, creative, and self-starting; comfortable with ambiguity and possessing the ability to complete multiple projects on time - Experience with management reporting - Eagerness to collaborate with individuals from varying backgrounds and diverse skill sets - Working knowledge of ERP systems, data warehouses and data extraction - Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate technical advancements into business impact As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $125K to $138K. The expected on-target earnings for this position is: $140K to $166K The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
