As a key member of the Engineering team, the Senior Project Engineer ensures the successful execution of projects from inception, through deployment to customers, as well as long-term support. The AMQS team focuses on solutions to support various services and infrastructure needs for our internal and external customers. You should have strong project execution, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Utilize data analysis to craft attractive proposals and create accurate bids, ensuring all project activities align with organizational goals. A multi-faceted role, this position requires versatility across a variety of tasks in a highly collaborative environment. The role collaborates closely with engineers and leaders, at various locations around the globe, to ensure project success. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Lead project execution and maintain performance metrics for decision making and continuous improvement purposes - Manage project scope (requirements and change requests) ensuring it meets agreed to commitments - Generate and maintain project schedules with understood dependencies, deliveries, and critical path - Utilize Earned Value (EV) methods for managing project budget (and schedule) - Ensure project meets quality expectations - Identify risks and opportunities and resolve them through proactive ownership - Prepare well-crafted presentations reporting project status to leadership teams - Develop Engineering estimates and proposals for potential projects and gain organizational buy-in - Facilitate communication and alignment with other groups and track low level deliverables QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE: - Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency with developing and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project - Proficiency with developing and maintaining information in Jira - Proficiency with Agile planning and methodologies, experience with leading teams to meet deliverables - Experience establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER: - Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. - Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
