Job Description

Lead Software Engineer

KBR, Inc.

• Provide technical expertise to design, build, and lead others in creating high performance application components for cloud-based web applications • Interfacing with the client directly to obtain priorities for the Agile Development backlog • Lead daily standup meetings and bi-weekly sprint planning sessions • Contribute with development efforts during the sprint, writing clean and efficient code using Microsoft Blazor, C#, and .NET Core • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers • Manage system documentation to support Development tasks, Quality Assurance tasks • Coordinate with Quality Assurance personnel to validate application functionality • Coordinate and Manage PaaS and DBaaS Cloud Platforms utilized by the Development Team • Maintain the Application and Cloud Platform security posture

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of related work experience
  • In lieu of a degree, an addition 8 years of experience can be substituted
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent within 90 days of offer
  • Microsoft Blazor, C#, and .NET Core experience
  • GitHub experience
  • Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL experience
  • Automated Testing tool experience with focuses on Unit and Acceptance testing
  • Working knowledge of Agile Development processes and reasons behind different methodologies
  • Independent Problem-Solving skills
  • Ability to work with a team containing technical and non-technical members
  • Both Technical and Non-Technical communication skills
  • Understanding of the DISA RMF Process and the Defense Health Agency’s eMASS implementation
  • PaaS and DBaaS Cloud Platform development and deployments experience
