Programmatic, Ad Ops Associate
Firefly
• Set up, launch, and manage direct and programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple platforms • Ensure campaigns are implemented on time, delivered in full, and meet client KPIs • Monitor campaign performance, identify issues, and optimize delivery under guidance from senior team members • Conduct QA for ad trafficking, delivery, and reporting to ensure accuracy • Update programmatic inventory on SSPs and integrate third-party inventory sources into internal systems • Support onboarding of SSPs/DSPs by performing operational tasks required for integration • Document ad ops processes and maintain operational playbooks for campaign setup, approvals, and reporting • Transition manual campaign workflows into automated solutions wherever possible • Communicate ongoing campaign statuses and issues to account management and internal teams • Participate in team meetings to support operational efficiency and process improvements
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in advertising operations, including hands-on experience with digital advertising campaigns (direct and programmatic)
- Understanding of ad technologies, including ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, and DMPs
- HTML, JavaScript, data structures, and understanding HTTP requests are nice to have
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex campaign delivery issues and escalations
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on precision and efficiency
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence
- Willingness to work U.S. business hours (EST) and adapt to varying schedules to support global operations
