• Partner with engineering to drive technical implementation of controls throughout the product and infrastructure • Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across AWS infrastructure and application architecture • Enhance and tune monitoring and detection capabilities in support of customer security and incident response capabilities. • Become a SME for the entire AlertMedia platform and support sales and legal in elevating customer experiences. • Lead technical portions of enterprise customer security reviews and architecture discussions • Effectively communicate technical concepts and serve as the point of contact for engineering and customer facing teams • Communicate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, I/T, and legal teams to maintain security and compliance posture as well as outline opportunities for advancement of control in the platform, infrastructure, and for customers.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of Security, Compliance, and Security Engineering experience
- Experience supporting SOC 2 and/or ISO audits
- Hands-on experience securing AWS environments (IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie)
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management, Encryption Standards, Cloud Infrastructure and tooling.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Experience supporting customer security reviews
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Highly organized and ability to succeed in an ever-changing environment
- Self-starter and team player, willing to jump in as needed
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding support

SIU is responsible for detecting, investigating and deterring insurance fraud committed against our companies, its policyholders and the insurance industry as a whole.
