Project Coordinator
AMERICAN SYSTEMS
• Provide coordination for Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) meetings with C-level leadership (CTO, DCIO, CIO), Enterprise Architects, and Engineers at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). • Develop artifacts including templates, meeting minutes, roadmaps, schedules used for decision making with DSCA technical leadership. • Determine areas for improvement and efficiencies in the technical execution of the DSCA IT Program. • Present analysis and recommendations to the DSCA Chief Technical Office (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) • Assist in the coordination of technical projects for the DSCA customer. • Assist in the planning, communication, and reporting of each project to improve synergy between the DSCA Technical Staff and DSCA Govt leadership. • Attend in-person and teleconference meetings, provide meeting support documentation when applicable as well as provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports. • Understand highly complex technical terminology and be able to translate into non-technical project status in terms of cost, performance, and schedule. • He/she must have the ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
Job Requirements
- 5+ Years in a project management/program management roles reporting directly to a Department of Defense (DoD) client
- Bachelors Degree in Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical degree is desired
- Experience supporting high level federal government customers
- Highly proficient oral and written communication with Technical and Management staff required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Proficient with SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.
- PMP Certification Highly Desired
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance in a timely manner
