• Collaborate with other professionals on project designs, ensuring innovative and aesthetically pleasing results. • Prepare detailed landscape design plans, drawings, and renderings under the guidance of the lead Landscape Architect. • Assist in the preparation and management of project proposals, budgets, and timelines. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients, and government agencies. • Identify ways to improve client communication, design, and production efforts. • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for the Landscape Architecture Department. • Stay updated on advanced landscape architecture techniques and technologies. • Participate in the development of thoughtful and sustainable landscape development projects. • Support and assist in training and mentoring staff as necessary. • Coordinate with administrative staff on project-related administrative needs and purchases. • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and evaluate their potential implementation. • Make a lasting difference in the community by designing thoughtful and sustainable development projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Landscape Architecture.
- 5 or more years of professional experience.
- Experience in AutoCAD.
- Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Florida.
- Experience in the local AEC community (preferred).

Role Description NOVA Engineering is currently seeking a multi-disciplined Plans Examiner & Building Code Inspector in the Lawrenceville, GA area. This person can primarily work remotely with occasional inspections. Primary duties will include: - Performing plans review (building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire – as licensed) on residential and commercial buildings. - Managing specific projects related to these types of code inspections. - Interacting with staff, contractors, and the public. - Occasional travel for inspections and/or managing projects in the assigned area. - Field located inspector positions with occasional office assignments. - Primarily office-based Plans Examiner positions. Essential Functions: - Building Code Review and/or Quality Control Inspections. - Preparing written and electronic reports, and issuing notices of correction. - Explaining and interpreting code and/or quality control regulations or requirements. - Recognizing, evaluating, and properly resolving unique problems or situations. - Maintaining effective customer service relationships with clients and the public. - Assisting the inspection management team with business development. - Performing other related duties as assigned by the Manager. Qualifications - Required ICC Commercial Plans Examiner licenses in two (2+) or more of the following disciplines: Building (Structural), Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and/or Fire. - 5+ years’ experience performing plan review and/or inspections. - High School diploma or equivalent education; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. - Valid State Driver’s license with clean driving record.
