Role Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Lead to oversee our data and analytics projects. In this role, you will lead a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing how our clients use data to drive their business decisions. Your focus will be on managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed successfully and on time. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand their needs, develop strategies, and guide the project to successful delivery. - Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of data and analytics projects, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, budget tracking, and risk management to ensure timely and successful delivery. - Team Leadership: Lead a team of data professionals, including developers and analysts, providing direction and support to achieve project goals and foster professional growth. - Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges, and offering strategic advice on how to leverage data effectively. - Requirements Gathering: Work with clients to gather and document their requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their goals and translating these into actionable plans. - Solution Oversight: Oversee the development of data solutions, ensuring they meet client objectives and are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. - Data Integration: Coordinate with technical teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring that data is accurate and available for analysis. - Dashboard and Report Development: Support the development efforts for dashboard and report creation, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and meet client needs. - Training and Support: Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions, and provide ongoing support to clients, helping them to effectively use data tools and insights. - Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and resolve any issues that arise. - Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends in data and analytics to contribute to the company's strategic direction and innovation. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university - At least 3 years of experience in project management, with specific experience managing projects using the Microsoft stack, including Power BI. - Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading projects to completion. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. - Proven leadership abilities and experience managing project teams. - Experience in understanding and translating business requirements into actionable project plans. - Ability to stay updated on industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes. Requirements - Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP, CAPM, CSM) or data analytics are a plus. - Additional experience with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, SQL Server) is beneficial.
