Role Description The Contract Specialist is responsible for managing contracts within Trojan UV’s Commercial business, including: - Reviewing, drafting, and supporting the negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g., sales, distribution, change orders). - Working closely with the Global Contracts Manager, regional Contract Managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams. - Acting as a key point of contact between Regional Sales Managers, Contract Managers, Finance, and occasionally end users during the bidding process and purchase order negotiations. This position is part of the Sales department and will be remote, ideally based in Germany. A typical day will look like: - Reviewing potential commercial contractual pitfalls and providing recommendations for resolution. - Providing interpretation of contract language to Regional Sales Managers to enable accurate assessment of technical obligations. - Providing professional contractual guidance to team members to ensure the project is executed according to contract requirements. - Ensuring new order acceptance criteria have been satisfied and obtaining approvals from Finance, Legal, Sales, Operations, and others as necessary. - Assisting Finance, Sales, and Project Management to manage, renew and obtain new Performance/Payments/Maintenance bonds, Bank Guarantees, or Letters of Credit as required by contract. - Assisting Sales and project teams with obtaining necessary insurance certificates and amendments, bonds, letters of credit, and bank guarantees. - Managing insurance reviews. - Traveling up to 10% of the time. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Law (e.g; Wirtschaftsjurist), Business, Law or related field is required. - Fluency in English and German. - 3 to 5 years of contract sales experience preferred. - Experience in capital equipment or complex commercial environments. - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams. - High attention to detail with the ability to identify contractual risks and deviations. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently. - Proactive, accountable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and development. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating field service activities and maintenance visits to support a first-time fix, adopting a proactive, customer-focused approach to support the field service team and ensure timely completion of service activities and internal and customer requests. The Regional Account Manager will help meet and exceed aftermarket parts and service sales targets by crafting long-term, valuable relationships with our customers.
