Role Description As a Notary Public with Sybil Mobile Notary, you will work as a full-time or part-time independent contractor, controlling your own schedule and work expenses. General Notary Publics (GNP) may handle private individuals, private and commercial companies, and provide notary services for federal, city, and state awarded government contracts. - Being present at the time of document execution (this may include traveling to clients’ homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely) - Verifying the identification of signers, witnesses, participants - Document execution (legally binding signatures) - Affirming the state of mind of all signers - Identifying fraud or coercion - Administering oaths - Handling affidavits, contracts, loan documents, court hearings, marriage certificates, and other legal documents - Bearing witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalent - Maintaining a notary journal as required by your commissioned state - Scheduling notary appointments - Attending SMN trainings and required events - Accepting/declining new job orders and following the rules of SMN and its clients Qualifications - Current Kansas Notary commission required - NNA Certifications preferred - Meets all the state's requirements to be a commissioned notary - High school diploma or equivalent - Familiarity with legal documents and loan documents - Flexibility, professionalism is a must - Great verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to work independently and on a team - RON Certified notaries are a plus - Ability to speak and read in other languages is desired Requirements - Current Kansas Notary commission required - NNA Certifications preferred - Meets all the state's requirements to be a commissioned notary - High school diploma or equivalent - Familiarity with legal documents and loan documents - Flexibility, professionalism is a must - Great verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to work independently and on a team - RON Certified notaries are a plus - Ability to speak and read in other languages is desired Company Description Sybil Mobile Notary is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity. You will conduct curbside, exterior, interior inspections for banks, real estate and insurance companies and other companies. And, sometimes you will be asked to perform notarizations. - Your photos can be worth $25 - $60. - If you own an iPhone or Android Phone, and like driving your own vehicle, keep reading. - Primary duties include taking pictures of homes, commercial properties, land lots, then uploading your high quality digital photos, and completing the reports. - Unique, fun role that lets you set your own hours. - Team works 7 days a week, day and evening hours only. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior work driving, courier services, delivery packages, photography or similar jobs - Experience in real estate, home or commercial inspection or photography is a plus - Current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to drive to locations to complete the assignments - Comfortable working independently, walking around occupied and vacant properties - Attention to detail is critical in the role for picture taking, inspections and reporting - Excellent organizational skills to plan your day and routes - Written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills are required - Proficient in basic computer skills, such as sending emails, uploading photos and reports - Bilingual speakers, and Retirees and Notary Publics are encouraged to apply Company Description We're an equal opportunity employer.
