Role Description This is an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a respected engineering and design firm known for delivering high-quality work across a variety of commercial and healthcare projects. In this role, you will lead electrical design efforts, perform engineering calculations, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to deliver technically sound projects. The position offers strong autonomy and the chance to work on multiple projects at once while collaborating with principals, project managers, and production teams. It’s a good fit for an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, mentoring others, and building relationships with clients. Responsibilities - Lead electrical engineering design work across multiple concurrent projects - Perform engineering calculations, system designs, and fieldwork as required for project completion - Coordinate with project managers and firm principals on project scope and design strategies - Assign drafting, modeling, and light design work to the production team - Review technical work for accuracy and compliance with design standards - Develop project specifications and documentation - Attend client meetings and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders - Support proposal and qualification development for RFQ responses - Participate in project interviews when strategically appropriate Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering - 5+ years of experience in the Architectural/Engineering industry - Strong understanding of electrical system design and engineering calculations - Experience coordinating with clients and project teams - Strong communication and leadership abilities - Proficiency with: - Autodesk Revit - Bluebeam - Power System Study Software - Microsoft 365 Preferred - 10+ years of experience - Professional Engineer (PE) license - Healthcare project experience - Project management experience - Located within 30 minutes of the office in Northeast Ohio Benefits - Medical insurance - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Retirement plan - Additional benefits available
