RES is seeking a Sr. Client Solutions Manager that will accelerate vertical market development in Arkansas across transportation mitigation and water quality platforms while supporting local natural channel restoration and mine reclamation projects. The position is vital to the region’s sales and business development function and promotes RES solutions throughout the Gulf Coast, including Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. You’ll serve as the face of RES to clients, agencies, and industry partners, helping identify and close opportunities for ecological restoration, water quality, and resilience solutions. This role blends relationship-building, strategic planning, and technical insight to position RES as a trusted advisor and industry leader. This position can be based remotely in the state of Arkansas, with preference of Little Rock, Fort Smith, or Fayetteville. Qualifications - BS/BA in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or related field - 6+ years of experience in a related industry, dealing with complex solutions with multi-year sales cycle and multiple stakeholders - Experience structuring deals and assessing their financial health - Experience with contracts and key provisions; legal awareness in deal structuring - Experience in multi-year sales, to several stakeholders - Experience supporting ecological restoration projects via CWA, NGO, and/or Public Works Requirements - Love building lasting relationships and solving complex client challenges - Are comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences - Communicate clearly in writing and in person—and know when to bring in the right internal experts - Can read the room, adapt your approach, and keep pushing forward with resilience and urgency What Will Make You Stand Out - Experience with relevant environmental regulations and permits/approvals (e.g. CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, ESA) - Knowledge of stream/wetland design and construction methods - Relationships with local, state, and federal regulators in your region - Experience in the review and preparation of regulatory documents and deliverables and responding to agency comments - Experience with science, design and/or construction of wetlands Benefits - You’ll be on the front lines of delivering real environmental results—through deals that matter. - You’ll collaborate with dynamic internal teams—from design and regulatory to finance and construction—to bring projects to life. - You’ll grow your professional network while engaging public agencies, private developers, consultants, and non-profits. - You’ll represent RES at conferences and industry forums, becoming a key voice in restoration innovation.
