Role Description We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our commercial activity across the United Kingdom on a freelance basis. This is a strategic, hands-on role for an experienced sales professional who knows the UK research and clinical landscape, enjoys representing breakthrough technology, and wants the autonomy of a self-employed contract. - You will own the UK market end-to-end — building the pipeline, closing deals and acting as the local face of Neuroelectrics for universities, hospitals, research institutes and key opinion leaders. - Develop and execute the UK sales plan for our EEG and non-invasive brain stimulation portfolio. - Build and nurture a strong pipeline across academic, clinical and research institutions. - Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, technical demos (with support from our product team), proposal, negotiation and close. - Represent Neuroelectrics at UK conferences, trade shows and customer sites. - Monitor the market — competitors, pricing, trends, funding cycles — and adjust the strategy accordingly. - Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts; report progress against targets to the Sales Director. - Work closely with our Marketing and Product Management teams to align messaging, gather customer insights and shape the UK go-to-market. Qualifications - 5+ years in sales, with at least 3 years in a sales management role. - Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in the UK market. - Bachelor's degree in business, plus a technical or scientific background (or equivalent experience). - Clinical understanding: knowledge of EEG technology, including routine EEG, Ambulatory EEG, LTM (Long-Term Monitoring), and cEEG in the ICU. - Comfortable creating and executing a sales plan, analysing data and reporting on progress. - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. - Self-employed status in the UK (UTR / VAT registration as applicable), legally able to invoice as a contractor. - Willingness to travel up to 50–60% within the assigned territory for client site visits and clinical trials. Requirements - Experience selling medical devices, scientific instruments or research equipment. - Direct experience with EEG, neurostimulation, neuroimaging or neuroscience-related technology. - Established network across UK neuroscience, neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation or academic research communities. - Clinical or scientific background (neuroscience, biomedical engineering, psychology). Benefits - Freelance contract on standard self-employed terms — full autonomy over how you work. - Fully remote, home-based within the UK. - The chance to bring cutting-edge neurotechnology to the UK research and clinical community. - Direct collaboration with a passionate, international team of scientists, engineers and clinicians. - A real opportunity to shape a market and grow with the company. - Competitive compensation, based on experience.
