Role Description This role is primarily a technical design and production position focused on creating accurate, build-able signage drawings for both interior and exterior applications. While there is a creative component, the majority of the work involves translating established brand standards, client requirements, and regulatory constraints into precise, production-ready designs. You will work at the intersection of design, engineering, and fabrication, ensuring that all concepts are not only visually aligned but also structurally sound, code-compliant, and executable in the real world. Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed 2D signage layouts, and production-ready files using CorelDRAW and other design tools - Translate client brand guidelines, interior/exterior finishes, and specifications into accurate, build-able sign designs - Ensure all designs meet ADA requirements, local codes, and project-specific compliance standards - Collaborate with project managers, clients, and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy - Based on feedback, site conditions and project changes update design layouts, sign location maps & our custom database to ensure each sign system is developed accurately - Maintain consistent drawing standards, templates, and file organization practices - Develop & reconcile large quantity projects using our custom database system - Support material selection and ensure designs align with fabrication methods and installation requirements - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines - Produce work efficiently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail What This Role is (and isn’t): This is not a traditional graphic design role. Approximately 90% of the work is technical and execution focused. Creativity plays a role, but designs are often constrained by client standards, compliance requirements, and real-world conditions. Success in this role comes from precision, speed, problem-solving, and the ability to design signage that can be fabricated and installed without issue. Role Description This position is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of sign projects, from initial client engagement to final production. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that signs are designed accurately, produced to specifications, and delivered on time. A Project Manager will typically oversee 20-30 large-scale and 10-15 smaller scale projects concurrently, each involving a complex sign system (typically consisting of 850 signs) at various stages of completion. - Lead the entire project process, ensuring consistency, quality, and successful outcomes from start to finish - Prioritize and manage project tasks to ensure on-time completion using the maineline operating system - Review and correct materials for accuracy, compliance, and quality - Schedule projects effectively to meet both client and internal deadlines while optimizing resource usage - Proactively identify risks and issues, communicate solutions early, and adjust strategies as needed - Lead stakeholders with confidence, maintaining clear, direct communication throughout the project lifecycle - Convey a strong sense of urgency while maintaining a calm, solution-oriented approach to challenges - Work independently with precision, while adapting to a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Focus on operational efficiency, aligning teams and resources toward achieving shared goals - Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external teams, understanding different communication styles to achieve the best results - Understand and manage contract execution, AIA G702/G703 documents and the reconciliation processes - Read, interpret and apply architectural plans and sign location maps - Take full ownership of project success through self-management and accountability - Demonstrate proficiency in professional business writing and phone communication Qualifications - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - Strong leadership and decision-making skills - Ability to effectively communicate urgency while maintaining composure - Passion for personal growth, learning, and improvement - Commitment to creating and maintaining a respectful, collaborative team culture - Positive, solution-oriented attitude when approaching challenges - Experience with Procore and Zoho is a plus - Familiarity with code requirements – ADA, IBC, MUTCD is a plus Benefits - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Retirement benefits (401k) matching - Paid vacation - Paid holidays - Company paid Long Term Disability (LTD) - NHPFML (NH Residents only)
