• Develop a deep understanding of KatRisk’s products, solutions, and key differentiators • Act as the primary technical expert during the sales process, supporting sales efforts in prospect meetings, discovery sessions, product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs). • Perform catastrophe model runs from initial data ingestion and configuration, to subsequent output analysis and results interpretation to support the sales motion. • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations that highlight the value of our models, underlying science, exposure data, loss calculation methodologies, financials prospectives (occurrence, aggregate, TVaR, etc.), and modeling platform capabilities. • Develop strong relationships with prospects and existing clients’ technical stakeholders, to share insights and feedback that drive product improvements based on customer needs. • Create technical documentation, guides, and resources as needed with the ability to run with RFI and RFP responses through internal collaboration. • Represent KatRisk and present to clients or at events both in person and virtually. • Stay current on industry developments in catastrophe modeling, climate risk, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.
• Develop clear, differentiated positioning for KatRisk’s modeling and analytics solutions. • Translate complex catastrophe modeling science into value-driven narratives for underwriting, actuarial, and executive audiences. • Define ICPs, buyer personas, and segment-specific messaging. • Support integration of recently acquired companies and products. • Lead product launches from strategy through execution. • Partner with Product to shape roadmap messaging and market readiness. • Work with Sales to align GTM plans for new perils, enhancements, and platform capabilities. • Build high-impact sales tools (battlecards, pitch decks, case studies, objection handling guides). • Equip commercial teams to articulate differentiation against leading competitors. • Support key enterprise deals with strategic messaging and competitive positioning. • Maintain structured competitive analysis across catastrophe modeling vendors. • Monitor industry trends (regulatory shifts, climate analytics advancements, modeling methodology updates). • Partner with marketing to support content strategy (whitepapers, webinars, industry events).
• Own and optimize our CRM (HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy, usability and adoption. • Partner with Marketing on lead flow, routing, and clean records within HubSpot. • Build and maintain pipeline dashboards and reporting for leadership. • Own forecasting processes and cadence; improve forecast accuracy over time. • Analyze pipeline coverage, conversion rates, deal velocity and win/loss trends. • Design scalable sales processes aligned to KatRisk’s buyer journey and sales stages. • Deliver actionable insights on rep performance, territory health and account coverage. • Support sales compensation planning and administration.
