Position Overview: The Sage ERP Consultant will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing ERP operations within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with production, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to improve business processes, enable system integrations, and ensure effective use of the Sage B7 ERP platform. The consultant will translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions, support end users, and drive system adoption across the organization. This position will be based at our Trenton, NJ office in a hybrid capacity. Responsibilities: - Serve as a functional expert for Sage B7 ERP, supporting core modules including: - Sales and procurement - Production planning, scheduling, and simulation - Costing and cost accounting - Warehouse management and inventory control - Logistics, distribution, and shipping - Financial accounting and controlling - CRM functionality and dashboards/reporting - Analyze and optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and financial business processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy - Translate business requirements into scalable ERP configurations and functional solutions - Support and implement ERP system integrations (e.g., Oracle ERP, MES, WMS) - Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between system functionality and operational needs - Deliver end‑user training and documentation to support system adoption and effective use Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution - Assist with testing, upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives - Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity Requirements: - Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Sciences or Supply Chain related areas - Proven hands‑on experience supporting or implementing Sage B7 ERP, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Experience working with ERP integrations and interfacing systems - Experience training and supporting end users across multiple functional areas - Experience working with MES and/or WMS systems, preferred - Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data insights to support business decision‑making - Legally authorized to work in the United States Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Strong understanding of production, inventory management, and cost accounting processes - Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend practical system solutions - Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational improvement - Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external customers - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team - Ability to work in office or manufacturing settings, including prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and navigating workshop areas - Must have clear vision for reading and screen work, effective verbal communication, and hearing ability for in-person and phone interactions

Key Accountabilities/ Execution: - Work with department leads to analyze financial results and explain variances vs prior year, budget and forecasts - Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including working capital - Prepare consolidated reporting on actuals, budget and forecast - Assist with preparation of monthly operations reviews and present to senior leadership - Provide financial support to enabling functions’ business leaders - Assist in month-end close responsibilities, including reconciling cost of goods sold and expense reclasses - Track cost savings for indirect and direct sourcing initiatives - Build business models to support capital investments - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college - 5+ years of relevant work experience, with manufacturing experience preferred - Solid analytical skills and working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and urgency for achieving results - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface with all levels - Advanced computer skills specifically advanced knowledge of and experience working with Excel.
