• Own and maintain the FP&A function • Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership on financial insights and decision support • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis • Build and/or refine reporting dashboards and KPIs • Develop or enhance 13-week cash flow modeling (as needed) • Collaborate closely with the Controller, including month-end review support • Identify opportunities for process improvements and SOP development

• Own and prepare SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and other required public company disclosures • Lead full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end and quarter-end close • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, SOX, and ASC 606 • Prepare and review technical accounting memos and support audits and external reporting requirements • Manage and develop a small accounting team (1–2 direct reports) • Oversee internal controls, compliance processes, and coordination with external auditors and advisors • Maintain and improve accounting processes, policies, and documentation in a fast-paced environment • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to support business initiatives and future growth • Operate comfortably in the details while maintaining a strategic mindset

• Serve as the CFO’s right hand, assuming ownership of core finance and accounting responsibilities with the opportunity to grow overtime. • Lead all audit activities and manage external auditors while strengthening internal technical accounting capabilities. • Interpret and apply current accounting standards; prepare technical accounting memoranda and complex accounting analyses in-house (work currently supported by outside advisors). • Support public company reporting requirements and ensure ongoing compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory standards. • Assess and upgrade existing processes, many of which are currently manual, and help drive systems improvements and scalability. • Oversee a Controller; anticipate building out the team further as the company grows.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and support multi-year financial planning • Consolidate departmental budgets and align financial plans with strategic priorities • Monitor performance against budget, perform variance analysis, and recommend course corrections • Collaborate with program leaders to promote strong financial stewardship • Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, including reporting deadlines and renewal cycles • Develop grant budgets for federal, state, and private funders in accordance with allowable cost guidelines • Oversee restricted funding compliance, including cost allocation, time tracking, and indirect cost recovery • Prepare accurate, timely financial reports for funders, leadership, and the board • Create and maintain financial dashboards to support program and executive decision-making • Conduct forecasting and scenario modeling for new initiatives and funding changes • Support annual audit preparation by providing schedules, documentation, and grant-related reporting • Improve and maintain budgeting and grant tracking systems • Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures • Train staff on budget management and grant compliance to build organization-wide financial literacy

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization • Assign appropriate general ledger (GL) codes based on expense type and chart of accounts • Accurately enter and import invoices into the accounting system • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies by partnering with internal teams and vendors • Collect and review employee credit card expense reports • Reconcile monthly credit card statements and identify discrepancies • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account updates

• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns, including multi-state filings • Lead tax planning, projections, and year-end strategies for high-net-worth clients • Research and advise on tax issues related to client transactions and new legislation • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and cash flow projections • Support asset acquisitions, leases, and financing processes, including escrow and lender coordination • Review insurance coverage and ensure appropriate policies are in place • Serve as a primary advisor to clients alongside firm Partners • Participate in client meetings and help manage long-term client relationships • Maintain the highest level of discretion and professionalism • Support onboarding of new clients and internal process improvements
