Senior Federal Financial Management Analyst – Auditing Support

• Join ERIMAX and a fantastic client in their mission to educate, train, and comprehensively prepare uniformed services health professionals, scientists, and leaders to support the Military and Public Health Systems • Provide all aspects of Audit support to FMG Directorate and the Assistant Vice President, Resource Management (AVR) for the financial audit • Assist with the assignment, receipt, review and submission of Provided-by-Client (PBC) packages to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in support of financial audits • Provide relevant and reliable financial information to meet Congressionally mandated audit requirements including, responding to Provided by Client (PBC) requests • Review Independent Public Accountant (IPA) samples and coordinate with the USU departments for responses to the sample requests • Develop the Customer User Entity Controls (CUEC) covering numerous Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) • Analyze audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations to formulate alternatives for corrective actions related to business processes, accounting, financial management, internal and management controls, and other CFO operations • Provide support with independent auditors and advice to the client related to audit and compliance issues
• Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures • Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations • Maintain communication with operations manager, staff members, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points • Assist the operations manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities • Oversee inventory management practices and improve them when necessary • Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations • Generate reports, analyze data, and document processes • Provide administrative support to staff as needed • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary • Order supplies and manage inventory, coordinating with accounting and finance departments to adhere to budget • Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff • Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors • Onboard and train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures
