Do you enjoy owning a book of business, driving strategic growth, and delivering meaningful solutions to your clients? Education Management Solutions (EMS) is looking for a dynamic Strategic Account Manager to lead retention and expansion across our most important customers. This is your opportunity to join a mission-driven organization focused on advancing healthcare education through innovative simulation technology. You’ll play a critical role on our Sales team, partnering with healthcare systems and academic institutions to strengthen relationships, expand our footprint, and deliver solutions that make a real impact. What You’ll Do - Own your accounts: - Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of strategic customers through renewals, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives - Drive revenue: - Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and performance metrics - Build relationships: - Develop trusted partnerships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers - Think strategically: - Create and execute account plans aligned to customer goals and long-term success - Be a solutions expert: - Present EMS products and deliver tailored demos that align to client needs and use cases - Expand opportunities: - Identify new areas for growth within existing accounts and drive expansion efforts - Close with confidence: - Lead opportunities through the full sales cycle from discovery to close - Collaborate: - Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay organized: - Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce Key Responsibilities - Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and business cases - Build and manage a robust pipeline with clear visibility into account activity - Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting within Salesforce - Support client engagement initiatives including onsite demonstrations, workshops, and events - Represent EMS at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer engagements - Contribute to ongoing improvements in sales strategy and go-to-market execution Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - 5–7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development - Proven success in retaining and growing customer accounts - Experience managing complex, enterprise-level relationships - Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) - Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven - Willingness and ability to travel up to 50–75% Benefits - At EMS, we don’t just sell solutions, we help shape the future of healthcare education. - Our team is driven by innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes through technology. - If you’re looking to make an impact while growing your career, you’ll find it here.
