What You'll Be Doing as a Customer Delivery Manager Clean Power Research is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Delivery Manager to join our Customer Success team supporting the implementation of our Software as a Service (SaaS) products across our growing customer base. The Customer Delivery Manager is an individual contributor responsible for onboarding utility customers to one or more of our utility industry products: PowerClerk®, our workflow automation platform; WattPlan®, our customer engagement platform; and FleetView®, our Distributed Energy Resource (DER) insights platform. Our customers have an increasing range of use cases and scenarios and look to use our Customer Success team members for implementation excellence and training as they adopt our tools. The Customer Delivery Manager is a self-driven professional with strong follow-through and the ability to design and manage business workflows that solve customer challenges through web and API-based platforms. This role leads solution implementation, manages customer expectations, and supports feature expansion. Individuals in this position also contribute to identifying new use cases and work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Engineering to support SaaS adoption and revenue growth. This is a high-impact role with strong potential for long-term growth in a dynamic, global market. Duties and Responsibilities Product Expertise & Implementation - Become a subject matter expert in implementing programs on PowerClerk, Clean Power Research’s flagship software service, used by more than 80 utilities in three countries - Lead the configuration and implementation of SaaS solutions, including workflows, forms, data mappings, business rules, AI prompts, formulas, roles, permissions, and environment setup (test and production) - Design and manage solutions that address customer integration needs through web and API interfaces - Clearly articulate the business and technical values of Clean Power Research’s software products to customers and partners—both in meetings and occasionally at industry events or trade shows Project Management & Delivery - Conduct project kick-off meetings to align on scope, expectations, and required inputs - Manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables from contract signing through launch, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders - Facilitate regular working sessions, status updates, and tailored training (on-site or virtual) for diverse audiences - Collaborate with Account Managers and Executives on budget and cost tracking - Secure other supporting Clean Power Research resources, as required to meet and exceed deliverables along the project timeline (e.g., engineering resources for customer-funded custom features) - Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and quality standards Customer Support - Elevate the voice of the customer in product planning, sales, and marketing conversations - Respond to and escalate support tickets from customers on a rotational basis - Create and deliver support materials (e.g., how-to videos, documentation) to streamline knowledge transfer for internal teams and customers Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth - Support Sales and Business Development with product demonstrations and proposal input - Help identify new use cases, triage feature requests, and contribute to revenue growth through close collaboration with internal teams Who You Are - 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as a SaaS business or energy/utility industry - BA/BS degree, in a business, technical or scientific field, is preferred; equivalent qualifications acquired through significant industry-specific work experience may be considered in place of a degree - Experience configuring and launching SaaS (cloud) software within an enterprise, or for a medium to large consultancy - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Experience managing projects and optimizing business processes, with exposure to utility workflows such as interconnection, distribution planning, forecasting, and reporting considered a strong plus - Deep organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain high attention to detail, and ensure data input accuracy - Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and patience—critical for success in a dynamic environment - Proficiency with Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office and 365 tools including MS Excel, MS Word and comfort working with virtual whiteboarding tools such as Mural - Desire to leverage AI tools to automate research, support content development and editing - Genuine passion for clean energy technology and the transformative potential of software Travel: up to 5% may be required; most work is performed remotely, however occasional travel to customer sites for kick-offs, launches and turn-overs, and to represent Clean Power research at trade shows, is necessary Pay Range & Benefits - Base Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000 annual depending on experience - Benefits: performance-based bonus, company equity plan - Additional Benefits: Paid PTO, Sick Time, Holidays, Medical/Dental/Vision/Life and Disability Insurance, 401K, Paternity and Maternity Leave, Commuter Benefits How To Apply Click the link below to submit your resume. Role Description Clean Power Research is seeking a Contract Product UX Designer with several years of professional experience to support the design and delivery of intuitive, data-driven experiences for complex cloud-based energy software used by utilities, energy agencies, and the solar industry. This is a contract engagement, structured around clearly defined project deliverables and timelines. The contractor will partner closely with product managers and engineers to shape user experiences across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through high-fidelity design and validation. This role is engaged as an independent contractor (1099). Contractors must be legally authorized to operate as a business in Washington State, including maintaining a current Washington State business license (UBI number) and compliance with applicable state and local tax requirements. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, and benefits. Product Context This engagement will primarily focus on PowerClerk®, Clean Power Research’s configurable, no-code workflow platform used by utilities and energy agencies to manage complex energy programs. PowerClerk streamlines application intake, review, approval, and ongoing program operations in a secure, enterprise-grade system. The role may also contribute to projects across the SolarAnywhere® family of products, which support solar resource assessment, performance monitoring, and forecasting. These products serve a wide range of analytical and operational use cases, requiring clear, usable interfaces for technically complex data. Scope of Work - Collaborate with Product/Program Managers and Engineers to understand user problems, product requirements, and constraints, and propose appropriate design solutions - Deliver high-quality designs for new features and refine existing experiences - Partner closely with multidisciplinary teams on the ideation and definition of new user experiences - Follow a user-centered design process, delivering design artifacts with an appropriate level of fidelity and detail at each stage - Contribute to a shared design system and help create component architecture documentation - Contribute innovative ideas and deliver groundbreaking designs that shape the future of our products - Transform complex concepts into engaging and intuitive user experiences Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or similar field - 4+ years of experience in user experience design, with a strong emphasis on interaction design or similar role - Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, including navigation, user flows, interaction design, information architecture, and information visualization - Clean, modern design aesthetic with strong attention to detail and a passion for simplifying complex experiences - Experience designing complex, data-centric web applications, with a strong understanding of how to make them intuitive and delightful - Fluency in UX best practices, including user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture, grounded in strong UX principles and techniques - Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear user flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes - Experience working across multiple levels of fidelity throughout the design process, from low-fidelity wireframes to pixel-perfect design specifications - Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, and building and maintaining design libraries - Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage work independently against agreed timelines - Experience with planning and executing lightweight, rapid, iterative usability testing is a plus - Experience building and maintaining design systems is a plus - Passion for renewables and for advancing the transition to clean energy Additional Notes - The role does not include people management responsibilities - The focus is on individual contributor design work and delivery of defined project outcomes Contract Compensation - Contract Engagement: Approximately 6 months - Hourly Rate: $50–$65 (flat rate) - This engagement is structured as an independent contractor (1099) role and does not include employee benefits How to Apply Click the link below to submit your resume.
