Role Description The Accounting Associate will provide broad support to the accounting team, assisting with foundational accounting tasks and administrative duties. This part-time role offers valuable exposure to accounting operations and evolving systems and workflow improvements. It is an excellent entry point into a dynamic, high-performing winery environment. - Support AP workflow and continuous automation improvements - Audit submissions, track expenses against budgets, and ensure accuracy and alignment with purchase orders - Communicate with vendors and customers (external and internal) regarding billing, payment inquiries, and general questions - Assist with basic reconciliations and reporting - Maintain organized digital records, schedules and documentation Qualifications - Foundational understanding of Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supported by academic or professional experience - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Proactive problem-solver, with curiosity to learn and improve processes - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard accounting software is preferred Requirements - Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic, professional, or personal commitments - Remote-friendly work opportunity - Practical experience in accounting and administrative operations Benefits - Opportunity to contribute to process enhancement and technology adoption - Exposure to the inner workings of a premium wine brand
